ART lovers are being encouraged to embrace the final week of the Somerset Arts Weeks as there are still lots of events in which to take part.
Artists from across Somerset have been appearing in venues and galleries since September 20 with a variety of exhibitions and workshops for the public to come and see.
Among the many exhibits across Somerset, King’s College, Taunton, hosted art work from Sam Petrie and Belinda Ireland while The Old Piggery Studio, Burnham, had pieces of art from Judith Champion’s collection.
One of the last events of the Somerset Arts Weeks will be the Family Friendly Final Weekend (October 4-5), which will teach you how to learn new skills in film-making, spinning, felt, wire, iPad art, stars and space, a farm walk and much more.
