THIS year’s Wedmore Arts Festival has brought together a wide range of local artists, from the very young to the more mature.
Their work reflects the thriving creative Somerset community of artists in and around Wedmore. You can see a range of work from Heath House Art Group, Wedmore Art Group, Wedmore Paper Art Group, the Wedmore First School Academy Year 4 Class, a photographer and other individuals.
Oils, mixed-media, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and pencil hang alongside imaginative paper work, photos, cards, stone carving and young artists’ themed paintings.
Among the exhibits are remarkable textile creations – pictures, wall-hangings and free-standing art using fabric with hand and machine embroidery and mixed-media.
Browse through this varied art in John and Tessa Podpadec’s appealing Barn Gallery.
You can see the artwork from May 11 until May 18 from 10:30am until 4:30pm in The Barn at Leburne House in Wedmore.
