A POPULAR children’s fancy dress competition was one of the highlights of Pawlett Flower Show on Saturday.
There were 225 entries in the show, a slight drop on last year, however the number of people through the door was slightly up.
The Silver Challenge Cup, for overall points score, was won by Lee Simmonds, while The Jo Radnedge Cup, for best Victoria sandwich, and the Thorne Preserve Cup, for jams, were won by Jo Edwards.
The children’s fancy dress competition attracted 14 entrants, and was won by eight-year-old Grace Simmonds.
