Last month visitors and members enjoyed hot drinks and a chat at the Drop-In Centre, discussing concerns and exploring coping strategies.
Drop-Ins are held on the first Saturday of each month in the Meeting Room at Taunton Library, Paul Street, from 10am to 12am.
The Adult Support Group also meets to plan future events and maintain contact with friends and ongoing support. Many regularly attend the Drop- In for further information and access to resources.
Meetings are run by volunteers who all have considerable experience of dyslexia.
They include parents experienced in supporting children in school, adults with knowledge of dyslexia in the workplace and specialists who can advise on assessments, tutoring and IT support. All are welcome and there is no charge.
