FOUR district councils are getting together in the hope of forming a Somerset Building Control Partnership to save a combined £240,000 in salaries.
Members of Mendip, Sedgemoor, Taunton Deane and West Somerset will vote on the scheme, which will result in an undisclosed number of redundancies, in the coming weeks.
