THE summer sunshine brought people in their hundreds to the Manor Gardens in Burnham on Sunday to enjoy some jazz in the park.
The event was free and so saw plenty of people turn out to enjoy the music an offer while relaxing in the sunshine. It was part of Burnham’s summer season of free outdoor music.
Headlining was the Bristol-based Panama Jazz band, a talented group of musicians on trumpet, sax, clarinet, banjo, guitar, bass and drums.
Their lively style and light-hearted approach made for a great performance. A second jazz band, the Roger Bond band, made a sentimental return, having played there many years ago and Nick and Chris Elswood played a blues set with Nick on guitar and vocals and Chris on harp.
