THE sun shone down for the Towans Residential Home summer fete.
The event took place on Saturday July 18 and was opened by the Mayor of Burnham and Miss Somerset, Emily Sanders.
Funds were raised for The Rotary, Age Uk and local charity In Charlie’s Memory.
Dancefit Dancers provided a show of entertainment, with local man Dennis singing for residents.
A range of stalls were set up including Sassi’s Gifts, cream teas, a cake stall and Sew and Sew Designs.
There was also a tombola, hoopla, a raffle and a craft stall.
An amazing £510 was raised to be split between the charities.
