A BURNHAM charity has won a competition held by the Weekly News and will host a special fundraising event in April.
In Charley's Memory, a charity which helps to raise awareness of mental health issues for young adults, won the chance to host an event at Quantock Lakes near Nether Stowey for free.
The event they are planning is called Somerset Spring Shenanigans and will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at 7pm.
There will be live music from The Mangled Wurzels as well as a live and silent auction, plus a games room with a fun Casino.
There will be a Pynes hog roast and veggie alternative, and earlybird tickets which cost £20 each went on sale on Monday.
