Firefighters rescue horse from Highbridge drainage ditch
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse which was stuck in a water-filled drainage ditch.
A specialist rescue team from Bridgwater joined firefighters from Burnham to help save the animal on Alstone Lane, Highbridge, shortly after 7am on Sunday morning.
The crew rescued the horse using water safety equipment and strops.
