Fire crews rushed to a shed that was on fire in Oxford Street, Burnham on Sea yesterday.
The blaze occured at 1:49pm and one crew from Burnham on Sea was mobilised.
On arrival the crew found the shed well alight and asked for assistance.
A second crew from Burnham on sea was mobilised.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire spread to an additional lean to and crews were advised that there was an LPG cylinder and a Helium cylinder within the shed.
"The cylinders were removed to the open air and cooled and the fire was extinguished using one hose reel, one covering jet and two breathing apparatus."
The incident was left in the hands of the police.
