SCORES of parents took their places in the stands as pupils from Berrow Primary School competed in a school sports day.
Students from the school's four houses Betelgeuse,Libra, Orion and Capella took part in a variety of events on June 30 including 100m sprint and a house relay race.
Lee Chandler, headteacher at Berrow Primary School said: "It was a lovely day for the children, teachers and parents
"The children competed against each other and in house races to get points for their house.
"The overall winners on the day were Betelgeuse house.
"Later on in the day there was a race for mum's, dad's and toddlers and all the children and parents who attended the event sat out on the grass and had a picnic which was provided by the school.
"It was great to see so many children try their best at the events and enjoy the day."
