A MAN has died after suffering cardiac arrest on Brean Down, the ambulance service has confirmed.
South Western Ambulance Service was called at 2.33pm on September 11 to Brean Down after reports a man had collapsed and was suffering from a suspected cardiac arrest.
Three ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and an air ambulance were sent to help the man but he sadly died at the scene.
Burnham-on-Sea Coastguard were also paged to help ambulance crews and set up a helicopter landing site for the air ambulance to land on and once the casualty had been treated they left the scene.
