A BRENT Knoll dress agency is celebrating 20 years in business by throwing a party for its customers.

The Frock Shop, in Bristol Road behind Ollie’s Cafe, was set up by fashion enthusiast Louise Allen in 1997.

The tucked away village boutique, which specialises in wedding outfits and day wear, has continued to grow and now boasts more than 6,000 customers on their books.

Laura Highmore from The Frock Shop said the store is unlike any other due to the wide variety of clients it serves.

“ Louise and Nicki have worked really hard to make the store stand out and appeal to a lot of people.

“Unlike many other stores, The Frock Shop caters for a wide range of clients and the staff make sure all of their needs are met.

“We cater for larger ladies, petite ladies and ladies of all shapes and sizes."

And Laura said although the shop has gained a big following on social media the owners still do everything on paper.

“Louise started the business in 1997 and Nicki joined around three years ago after being a regular customer at The Frock Shop for years,” Laura added. “Both owners have years of experience in the fashion industry and pride themselves on providing a good experience for clients as they understand that each client has a different set of needs and requirements.

“Over the last 20 years we have had such as positive response from people in the community and have a good amount of loyal customers who regularly use our services.”

Staff at the shop will be hosting a party on November 2 from 11am and are inviting customers to come in for a glass of bubbly to help them celebrate their success.
