FEARS over plans to change part of a Brent Knoll house into a children's day care facility have been rejected by Sedgemoor District Council.
Plans to transform the ground floor of a Brent Street home were considered on Tuesday (July 17) by the authority's Development Control Committee.
And members decided to go with the project, despite Brent Knoll Parish Council raising concerns that the 20 children using the nursery would create traffic problems on the stretch.
A total of 13 letters of objection were also lodged against the idea, but ten supporters, together with Somerset County Councillor Alan Ham, were for the plans.
