A WOMAN has suffered hip and ankle injuries after being hit by a car in Burnham-on-Sea.
Police were called at 3.50pm today (March 13) to Adam Street in Burnham-on-Sea following reports of a crash.
South Western Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We were called to reports of a crash between a woman pedestrian and a car at the junction of Adam Street and High Street in Burnham-on-Sea at about 3.50pm today (March 13).
"An ambulance was called for the pedestrian, who complained of hip and ankle injuries."
