FIREFIGHTERS from Burnham-on-Sea were called to East Huntspill were called to help a horse stuck in a ditch.
Burnham firefighters and a specialist rescue team from Bridgwater were sent to help the horse at 7.49pm yesterday (July 4).
When they arrive crews found one large male horse up to its stomach in mud.
They were able to mechanically lift the horse to safety using specialist animal rescue equipment.
