A JACKNIFED caravan is causing severe delays on the M5 this afternoon.
Debris has been left scattered across the M5 northbound carriageway following the incident.
There is queueing traffic following the incident between junction 22, for Burnham-On-Sea, and junction 21, for Weston-Super-Mare.
Travel time is one hour and 30 minutes between the two junctions, according to Travel Somerset.
- All lanes have reopened and the vehicle has been moved to the hard shoulder.
Update - #M5 northbound between J22 - J21 #Avon is now fully open following recovery and clearance of a car and caravan involved in collision. Have a safe onward journey. Delays should start to ease.
