COUNCILS and community groups across Sedgemoor are being offered free bulbs to plant themselves in a bid to make the district 'even more beautiful'.
Sedgemoor District Council (SDC) are offering 25kg bags of 'Woodland Mix' daffodil bulbs to town and parish councils and community groups in the hope they can provide a lovely display in the spring.
A spokesman for SDC, said: "Bulbs will be allocated according to interest, one bag per organisation, and made available either to collect from our depot in Colley Lane, Bridgwater or delivered direct from week commencing October 8."
Community groups or parish councils can register an interest, via e-mail to clean.surroundings@sedgemoor.gov.uk or by calling 0300 303 7803.
The closing date is September 28.
