MOTORISTS were brought to a standstill on the M5 southbound this morning after a lorry shed its load of nails.
The southbound carriageway between (J21) Weston-super-Mare and (J20) Clevedon was blocked while officers cleared the road.

Traffic was released at around 6.30am after the nails had been cleared from the road.
