AN APPEAL has been launched to find witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a serious crash in East Huntspill.
The incident happened on Church Road (B3141) at around 6.45pm on October 22.
A woman was out walking her dog when she was in a collision with a gold coloured Seat Ibiza travelling along Church Road.
The woman was left with critical head injuries and was flown by air ambulance to a hospital in Bristol where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We would like to ask anyone who may have been in the area or witnessed this incident to please make contact with PC 2229 Dalton in the Road Policing Unit by calling 101 or emailing matthew.dalton@avonandsomerset.police.uk.
"You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.
"No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers."
