DRIVERS faced long delays travelling in both directions on the M5 after two incidents.
Delays were in place around Bridgwater for cars between junctions 23 and 24.
The first series of delays were for cars travelling southbound around the Somerset town. They were being caused by emegency repairs and two lanes were closed.

There were also delays for drivers heading northbound between junctions 24 and 23 due to a crash. The accident was moved to the hard shoulder, although delays remained.

Both incidents have since cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
