VOLUNTEERS braved the cold weather and planted more than 1,000 bulbs in Apex Park to spread some spring cheer.
Following two postponements due to bad weather, The Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group and Sedgemoor District Council’s Clean Surroundings Team planted the bulbs to the west and south areas of the lake on Wednesday (December 12).
Bags of daffodils and bluebell bulbs were dug and planted by the volunteers and staff around various parts of the park in a bid to make Apex Park more bright and colourful come spring.
