REPORTS of a theft from a vehicle ended in a dramatic crash on a busy Taunton road.
Police were called to reports of thieves taking power tools from a parked vehicle in Ash Priors at around 2.30pm on Monday afternoon (December 17).
Three people left the scene in another vehicle which, soon after, crashed into a wall in Brindle Close, off Staplegrove Road, Taunton, a police spokesman said.
"Three suspects left the vehicle but two were arrested," he added.
"The two were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. They have been released under investigation.
"The third man is being sought."

An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called at around 2.50pm, and we sent an ambulance crew to attend the incident.
"There were reports of two patients."
It is not believed anyone was taken to hospital.
