STAFF and users of Brunel Care came together and enjoyed some festive cheer at a Christmas party event.

On Tuesday, December 18 more than 30 people gathered at St John's Ambulance Hall in Highbridge and tucked into a festive feast, played games and danced to celebrate the festive season.

Visitors dressed up in festive jumpers and enjoyed browsing around a number of stalls at the event as well as a performance from a local choir.

The event was organised by carers at Brunel Care so they could get to their clients better and enjoy time together over the festive season.

Jessica Franz from Brunel Care said the event was a big success.

"We had a fantastic time at our Christmas party event, it was lovely for our carers to spend time with the people who use our services," Jessica said.

"We work with people who live in their own homes so it was great to get everyone together for a community event.

"The choir's performance went down really well. Everyone really enjoyed it and really enjoyed the event."
