A VERY unusual item has allegedly been stolen from a Somerset farm.
Avon and Somerset Police's rural crime department has issued the appeal after cow semen was taken from the farm in Cossington, near Bridgwater.
The incident is said to have occurred between December 30 and 31.
It's thought the cattle semen stolen from the Bell Lane farm was to be used for 'artificial insemination'.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Farm watch alert:- unusual theft. "Between Dec 30-31artificial insemination cattle semen was stolen from a farm in Bell Lane, Cossington, Somerset.
