BREAN Play at Brean Leisure Park joined forces with the Salvation Army for its annual Christmas toy appeal to help provide a better Christmas to disadvantaged children across the county.
Visitors to Brean Play were invited to drop new toys into the play collection point before December 12 and The Salvation Army has thanked people for their generosity as they sent gifts to local children for Christmas.
Mike Barsby, from Brean Leisure Park, said: “The Salvation Army does essential work supporting local families and this appeal goes some way to helping families in need enjoy the happy Christmas most of us will take for granted. I would like to say a big thank you to all the people that donated toys this year.”
