A TOTAL of 450 runners took to the start line for the 2019 Stoke Stampede 10k at the weekend.
Getting underway at 11am on Sunday (January 6), the runners took in a scenic course through the village of Stoke St Gregory and the surrounding area.
Ian Tyson came home in first place, in a time of 34.41, followed by Andrew Drake (36.01) and Iain Cain (36.13).
Hannah Taunton was the first woman across the line - in sixth place overall - in a time of 36.22, followed by Rachel Astington (38.59) and Joanna Carritt (39.21).
