MEMBERS of The Friends of Apex Park and Sedgemoor District Council's park officers volunteered their time to cut back brambles at Apex Park.
Volunteers trimmed brambles along the southern boundary edge of the park to allow the hedge to grow.
The work was carried out as part of the district council's ecologist’s recommendations in the Hedgerow Management Plan for Apex Park.
The district council said another cutting back day will be arranged soon.
