A 30-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged after a pensioner was robbed in Weston-super-Mare.
Rosanna Sonia Cooper, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of fraud by false representation.
The charges relate to an incident in Colnel Stephens Way on Thursday, January 10.
An 88-year-old pensioner was walking with her husband when her bag was yanked from her arm, causing her to fall to the ground.
The pensioner suffered a broken nose, fractured wrist and severe bruising in the incident.
Cooper is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
