TRAFFIC: One lane of the M5 northbound is closed while emergency repairs are carried out
THE M5 northbound has now reopened after emergency repair works closed part of the carriageway.
Traffic cameras showed that there was congestion on the M5 northbound between J22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and J23 (Bridgwater) and queuing traffic on the motorway as lane one of three was closed.
The road was closed until around 10pm last night (February 6) while the works were completed.
