NEW CCTV cameras installed at a Highbridge school helped police track down a group of intruders.
The state of the art security system, which was installed at The King Alfred School, an Academy (TKASA) recently, was put to good use on Wednesday (February 20) as it helped police catch a group of intruders who were trespassing on the school site.
A spokesman for TKASA, said: “Thank you to our local police last night who quickly apprehended some youths who were on our site at TKASA without permission.
“Most young people are doing the right things but rest assured we will not readily tolerate trespassers on site at TKASA.
“New security cameras and security is working well. The intruders will be caught. Thank you to all concerned.
“Please be aware the academy is not open to the public without proper permissions and Police will be called. Thank you for your support.”
