IT was this time last year we were hit by the Beast From The East snowstorm which caused widespread disruption.
And while this year we will be spared the snow, there is still some pretty torrid weather heading to Somerset as much of the UK embraces itself for the impact of Storm Freya.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind with heavy rain and gales expected to build this afternoon and into the evening.
Heading into Monday it is expected to be largely dry with clear spells for many areas, but squally showers may affect the south coast until the early hours. It will be very windy initially, but winds easing towards midnight.
