People are being warned to expect possible disruption to bus and train services, delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges, with some short-term losses of power and other services.
"It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities are affected by spray and/or large waves," the forecaster added.
It comes after high winds battered the county on Sunday, bringing trees down and closing some routes.
