A BURNHAM-on-Sea pub is set to close for a £600,000 refurbishment.
The Reed's Arms in Pier Street will be given a facelift next month which will see the customer area refurbished and extended to the side, the beer garden extended, the kitchen upgraded and the toilets reconfigured.
There will also be new staff facilities.
Work will start at the pub on April 29 but the pub will close on April 28. It will reopen on June 7.
Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: “ Our aim is to offer our customers the best possible pub.
“The Reeds Arms is extremely popular and we are confident that that customers will welcome the new-look pub once it reopens.”
