ALL of Somerset Care's 32 services have been given top marks by the governing authority.
Somerset Care, which runs 26 care homes in the county and the Isle of Wight, as well as a number of home care and learning disability services, has received a CQC rating of 'good' or 'outstanding' for all of its practices.
In care home terms, this means Somerset Care is '100 per cent compliant'.
Sarah Hicks, director of operations, said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved 100 per cent compliance across all our services.
"Quality is paramount in all that we do within the Somerset Care Group; to have this reflected by CQC is an amazing feat.
"This achievement truly recognises the commitment our dedicated staff have to making a difference to the lives of the people we support.”
The latest home to receive the rating is Portcullis House in Langport, which was inspected in March 2019.
Tina Bartin, Manager said: “We are delighted to have received a ‘good’ rating in our recent inspection.
"The team here at Portcullis House take great pride in the quality of care they deliver; it’s great to see this recognised by the CQC.”
