BREAN Leisure Park and Holiday Resort Unity are hosting a local producers fayre for a second year to celebrate Somerset Day.

The event on May 12 will see producers from across Somerset set up stalls and sell food, drink and craft goods.

A limited number of three x three metre pitches are available to local producers of food, drink and crafts to exhibit and sell their goods on the day at no cost.

There will also be a barbecue, inflatable fun for children and an outdoor bar at the event.

Richard House from Brean Leisure Park, said: “As a Somerset family business, we feel it important to mark and celebrate Somerset Day.

"By putting on this fayre we are also allowing the many people around our county to showcase and sell their produce on the day, and also support our very valuable search and rescue services, who voluntarily give their time 365 days a year to look after our local community and the many thousands of holidaymakers that visit Brean every year"

Funds raised at the event, we will be equally donated to BARB Search and Rescue, The Coastguard Association on behalf of Burnham-on-Sea Coastguard Rescue Team and Burnham-on-Sea RNLI.

The event is free to enter an is open to all.

In the event of adverse weather, the event will take place in The Pavilion Food Court.
