Daniel Partridge, of the Walnut Tree, sponsor of the Charity of the Year Award, said: “When accepting the role of General Manger at the beginning of 2019 I was committed to continuing and enhancing The Walnut Tree’s dedication to supporting local charities and I see the Pride of Sedgemoor awards as a great way to kick start this commitment.

“The Pride of Sedgemoor awards are especially close to our hearts since my assistant manager, Chelsea Dummer, won the 2018 Care Award.

“She is especially excited to be involved with these important awards once again, this time by sponsoring this year’s deserving cause.”
