A 20-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation after a man was assaulted in Brean.
Avon and Somerset Police launched an investigation after a 20 year-old man was attacked on Warren Road in Brean in the early hours of Sunday morning (May 12).
The police said a 20-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and possession of a Class B drug.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: “We're investigating after a 20-year-old man was assaulted on Warren Road, Brean during the earlier hours of Sunday morning (May 12).
“The victim required hospital treatment for injuries which were neither life threatening of life changing.
“A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and possession of a Class B drug.
“The man has been released under investigation while further enquiries take place.”
