THE Healing Weekend is set to return to Secret World Wildlife Rescue for the 11th year.

The three day event will be hosted at the East Huntspill based wildlife centre from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14 with more than 180 exhibitors setting up shop and 90 workshops taking place.

Event organisers Elaine Fenton and Ron Tropman were thrilled last year when around 6,000 attended, and they are ready to welcome even more people to this incredible event again this year.

Workshops on offer will give visitors the chance to try their hand at yoga, take part in drumming, and learn more about healthy lifestyles, healing, meditation and more.

Mrs Fenton said: “ ‘The Healing Weekend is now one of the best loved events of its kind in the UK attracting thousands of visitors.

“It really is a first class event The South West can be proud of, supporting the wonderful work of Secret World charity founder Pauline Kidner.

“If you have not visited before, you are in for a truly memorable experience, one the whole family can enjoy. We look forward to seeing you there’.

Pauline Kidner, founder of Secret World Wildlife Rescue, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming old friends and new at this Holistic Festival that has grown every year. Such is the reputation of this event that many people are coming from all over the country.”

The main event is open 10am to 6pm each day and daily entry costs £5, however under 14's enter for free.

There are also evening events which cost an additional £5, with live music and song on the Friday night and a Clairvoyance evening on the Saturday.
