A 'BLADED weapon' has been recovered from a property after armed police were called to reports of a man being forced into a home in Bridgwater.
Police were called to a property in the Friarn Street area of Bridgwater on July 3 following reports of a man being forced into a property by other men at around 6.50pm.
A “bladed weapon” was recovered and a 19 year-old man was arrested, but later released without charge.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We received a report of a man being forced into a property in the Friarn Street area of Bridgwater by other men at around 6.50pm last night (July 3).
"The caller also reported seeing one of the men with a knife.
“Armed officers attended due to the nature of the incident.
“Officers recovered a bladed weapon from a property and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in a public place. He’s since been released without charge.
“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
