FIREFIGHTERS from Taunton and Wellington were called to tackle a fire at a off licence in Taunton.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called at 5.05pm on Thursday (July 4) following a number of calls reporting a restaurant on fire in East Reach.
Fire engines, including one aerial ladder platform, from Taunton and Wellington were sent to the incident and confirmed a fire on the flat roof of a commercial off license which had been contained.
Firefighters tackled the fire using one hose reel jet, two thermal imaging cameras and one short extension ladder.
The fire caused 15 per cent fire damage to the roof with no internal fire spread.
The cause of the fire was confirmed as accidental.
