PLAY areas in Bridgwater and Highbridge are set for a safety surface make-over before the school summer holidays.
Sedgemoor District Council said new safety surfacing will be laid in Bridgwater play areas in Stafford Road, Victoria Park, Holford Road, Gloucester Road and Alfoxton Road and at Apex Park in Highbridge
The new rubber safety surfacing is being put down at the six sites to replace the existing surfacing at a cost of £47,500.
The works will be finished in time for the school holidays, so that children can enjoy the play equipment.
