HUNDREDS of people piled onto Brean Beach to enjoy the town’s first official polo event.
The free event on Saturday (July 6) saw two polo teams playing matches on the sand, with live commentary and music.
Michael Ball from Taunton Vale Polo Club, organiser of Brean Beach Polo, said: “We’re really pleased with the turnout for Brean’s first official beach polo event. Crowds of people turned up to watch the polo matches and cheer on the players.
“It was great to host something a bit different on the beach, and we definitely hope to hold more polo events in Brean in the future.”
