NORTH Petherton Cricket Club is urging people to ‘get their kit out of the attic’ and join in the fun at its annual Club Day this Sunday, July 14.

The club is looking to attract new and returning players to take up the game, and all attendees are invited to take part in a T20 game with coloured kits and pink balls.

The Cricket World Cup final will be shown live as part of the family and dog-friendly event, along with a bouncy castle, face painting and Kwik Cricket for children.

The day begins at noon and will continue into the afternoon and evening, with the T20 match beginning at around 3.30pm.

North Petherton CC runs two senior men’s teams on a Saturday (WEPL Somerset and Somerset League Division 6S), a T20 team and a Sunday XI, as well as youth teams up to Under-19 level.
