WESTON Hospicecare Burnham-on-Sea Friends Group held a successful open garden with kind permission of local couple Dorothy and Cedric May.
The event was well attended and the sun shone all afternoon so that people could enjoy the garden and tea and cake as they raised £288.15.
Jacqui Strong generously opened her beautiful garden in aid of WHC, and despite the bad weather still raised £75.
The last of the series of open gardens is on Sunday, July 21, when the hosts are Jeanne and Peter Gilraine and five neighbours.
The garden trail will start at 43 Golf Links Road, when there will also be cakes and tea, a plant sale and raffle from 2pm to 5pm.
