Albion's two new signings satisfied Graham Potter in the friendly victory in Austria.
Former Genk left-winger Leandro Trossard and ex-Portsmouth central defender Matt Clarke both played in the second half X1 against FC Liefering.
Trossard scored the fourth goal straight away in the 5-2 win, while Clarke made a goal-saving tackle towards the end.
Potter said: "It's not easy coming to a new club and settling in. Both are adapting to an increase in level, but they were fine. It was nice for Leandro to get his goal and Matt was solid enough defensively.
"There are things to improve, of course, but I was happy enough with the application this week and I'm looking forward to working with them."
