A few seats are still left for a special evening with one of the biggest stars of musical theatre from the past 30 years.

West End and Broadway legend Marti Webb makes her debut at Theatre by the Lake on Sunday in a special charity gala concert alongside home grown entertainer Clark Wilkinson and two other professional musicians.

She is probably best remembered for her performances as Evita and the one woman show Tell Me On A Sunday, which was specially written for Marti by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black and provided her with the massive hit, Take That Look Of Your Face.

In a career spanning over 50 years Marti is well established as one of Britain’s favourite musical stars.

She has performed leading roles in the West End productions of shows such as Stop The World I Want To Get Off, Half-a-Sixpence, Oliver, Godspell, Cats, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Blood Brothers.

More recently she has performed a solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall and a series of critically acclaimed cabaret performances alongside Tommy Steele, in the Glenn Miller Story at the London Coliseum in 2018.

Marti will not only sing all her greatest hits, but also talk about the stars and the producers and directors she has worked with over the years.
