A MINEHEAD care home is welcoming a new manager.
Donna Howitt has been appointed the new manager of Wyndham House, Minehead.
Ms Howitt is a familiar face around the home as she has worked there for many years.
Donna first joined Somerset Care in 2000 as a care assistant, progressing through the ranks before becoming deputy manager at Wyndham House.
Staff and residents at the Minehead care home are delighted with Donna’s appointment as manager and are enjoying celebrating her success.
Ms Howitt said: “I’m so pleased to have been appointed as manager of Wyndham House. I’m so excited about the times ahead and am delighted to be supported by a hardworking staff team and an incredible group of residents.
"Something I’m really looking forward to is revamping our garden. We have a wonderful garden already, but I’m really passionate about transforming our outside space and giving it a new look.”
