PLANS have been submitted to Shropshire Council for the installation of more than 100 solar panels on private land in Selattyn.
The application, submitted by Colin Hall, is for 113 ground-mounted solar panels and six inverters to be installed on the land north of Ty Pant, and for the use of land to be changed to residential from agricultural.
However; the applicant has agreed for the farmer who currently leases the field, to be able to continue to graze his sheep there.
Mr Hall said: "The panels will provide shelter and warmth in the winter for the sheep."
The site area is to measure 150 sqm.
