THE 10 Parishes Festival returns next month with nine days of visual and performing arts. The festival guide was launched this week in Wiveliscombe and has been designed by Bathealton artist, Aga Karmolinska.

The theme of this year is reuse and recycle, a subject that artists can choose to follow in creating new works. The festival’s patron Rosie Boycott said this theme has captured the imagination of participants including Jenni Dutton who will lead in the creation of a huge plastic-bag-lady, that will lead the popular carnival parade as part of market day on Sunday, September 8.

Festival Director, Pauline Homeshaw, said: “We have over sixty artists exhibiting this year throughout the ten parishes as well as quality live music performances and community events.”

The Festival runs from Saturday 7th until Sunday 15th September. Visit www.10parishesfestival.org.uk
